Results

There are 6 possible types of resonances (more details in Erdi et al. 2007b), and two of them are important for the Exotrojan Catalogue: the A type resonance (n-nl):nl and the B type resonance ns : nl. Table 1 lists the possible pairs of the frequencies with a suggested name for the type of the resonance.

Table 2 gives the initial points of these curves (mass parameter μ at e = 0) and one of the initial resonant frequencies (dividing it by the resonant ratio, the other frequency can be obtained). These resonant curves are shown in Figure 1, where the size of the stability region around L4 were presented as function of the parameters μ and e. For any pair of μ and e, we determined the largest distance from L4, denoted by ε, along the line of L4 and the larger primary, until the orbit of the test planet starting from points of this line remains stable in the above sense.
