High eccentric Planetary Orbits in Binaries

This study is concerned with the stability of planets moving in high eccentric orbits around one component of a binary (e.g. S-type motion). The stable regions have been determined numerically using the elliptic resticted three body problem as dynamical model. The computations have been carried out for the whole range of mass-ratio (from 0.1 to 0.9). To distinguish between stable and chaotic motion we applied the Fast Lyapunov Indicator.
